Stephens Praised Whitefield’s Work
“…The Church wanted not a full Congregation before Noon, or after; nor they to hear their Duty to God and Man pressed home by Mr. Whitfield, who was indefatigable continually through the whole Week in the Exercise of his Ministry, as well in the adjacent Villages as the Town, to teach People true Christianity.”
