MLK Released from Jail in Albany Movement

Martin Luther King Jr. was released from jail after reaching an oral agreement with the Albany city commissioners that the city would desegregate the train and bus facilities in return for the demonstrators’ ending their boycott and protests. The commissioners later reneged on the agreement.
