Larry Munson Died

Legendary University of Georgia football announcer Larry Munson died at his home in Athens, Georgia. Munson was the radio voice of the Bulldogs for all or part of 43 seasons, beginning in 1966. He also did work for the Georgia basketball team, plus the Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons. But he was famous for his exciting calls in some of Georgia’s greatest football games, many of which can be heard in the link attached to his name above.
