Spanish Flu Spread Across Georgia

The Spanish influenza epidemic of 1918-19 had now hit Georgia. At Camp Gordon in Atlanta, the second day of the outbreak found 138 soldiers with the deadly flu, ten of whom had already died of pneumonia.
