Bobby Jones Won First Grand Slam

Bobby Jones won the U.S. Amateur championship at Philadelphia, thus becoming the first player ever to make the “Grand Slam” by winning all four major titles (the U.S. Open, the U.S. Amateur, the British Open, and the British Amateur championship).
