Georgia Music Hall of Fame Opened

The Georgia Music Hall of Fame opened in Macon. On hand were such personalities as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Little Richard, Travis Tritt, R.E.M., the B-52s, and the Atlanta Rhythm Section. Unfortunately, lack of attendance and funding caused by recession would force the Hall of Fame to close its doors in 2011.
