Alderman Executed

Jack Alderman was executed by lethal injection at the Georgia Department of Corrections prison in Jackson, Georgia. Alderman, 57, had been on death row for 34 years - longer than any other condemned prisoner in Georgia. He was convicted in 1974 for the murder of his wife in order to collect on her life insurance policy.
