Georgia Day at Chicago World’s Fair

Gov. Eugene Talmadge led a group of over 500 Georgians to Chicago’s World’s Fair, which officially was known as the “Century of Progress Exposition.” This was Georgia Day at the Fair, and the state of Georgia had issued a 16-page official publication - A Record of Progress in Georgia - for distribution at the event.
