Calley Convicted for My Lai Massacre

In a court martial trial held at Fort Benning in Columbus, Georgia, Lt. William Calley was convicted for the premeditated murder of twenty-two Vietnamese civilians in the My Lai massacre on March 16, 1968. Calley would be sentenced two days later.
