“Sunshine Law” Signed

Gov. Jimmy Carter signed Georgia’s “Sunshine Law” mandating opening meetings of state boards and commissions, subject to a few exceptions (such as personnel matters, real estate acquisition, and proceedings of the State Board of Pardons and Paroles).
