Woodrow Wilson Inaugurated

Woodrow Wilson, the first U.S. president with substantial Georgia ties, was inaugurated outside the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. Wilson lived part of his youth in Augusta, where his father was a minister. Later, he lived in Atlanta, where he practiced law. In 1885, he married Ellen Louise Axson of Rome, Georgia.
