Milledgeville Editorial Claimed No Peace without Independence

Despite the shortages caused by the Northern blockade; despite the disagreements between different branches of Georgia government; despite Union forces taking Tybee Island - the Daily Federal Union of Milledgeville remained defiant regarding any talk of peace without recognition of Southern independence.
