Brutal Report from Doctor at Andersonville

A Confederate doctor assigned to Camp Sumter - Andersonville prison - made a brutal, but honest, report - that the high death rate among the inmates was due to dysentery, scurvy, and gangrene, caused in large part by poor rations, little medicine, and the accumulation of feces within the stockade.
