Ads Showed War Life in Georgia

A string of ads published in the Southern Confederacy of Atlanta was symbolic of much that was going on with the war - someone wanting a substitute to serve for him, farms for sale in exchange for Confederate money, a runaway slave, paper that had made it through the blockade, and an notice to be on the lookout for escaped Federal prisoners.
