Benjamin Hill Speech Supporting Produce Loans

The Southern Confederacy of Atlanta printed a letter from Benjamin H. Hill, in which he offered his support and encouraged others to support the “Produce Loans,” as they were being called - having planters donate a portion of their produce in exchange for Confederate bonds.
