Report on Toombs Speech

Georgia native and former General and Confederate Secretary of War Robert Toombs spoke in Hancock County “On the State of the Country” as he saw it. The Countryman covered the event and a couple of weeks later the Confederate Union of Milledgeville reprinted the report on Toombs’ speech.
