Atlanta Newspaper Denouced James Buchanan

The Southern Confederacy of Atlanta printed an editorial denouncing former President James Buchanan (referring to him as Ten Cent Jimmy) for insisting military men should adhere to their oath to fight for the United States. Many Southerners had resigned their military commissions to serve for the Confederacy.
