“Spirit of Patrick Henry” Letter

The Southern Confederacy of Atlanta published a letter from “Spirit of Patrick Henry” beseeching all freemen of the South to stand up and fight to protect their homeland and to avenge the blood already shed on the battlefield. But the bloodshed had barely begun; the next three years would be far worse.
