Yellow River
The Yellow River originates in Gwinnett County, from where it flows southward to empty into the northern part of Lake Jackson along the Jasper/Newton County border. The confluence of the South River and Alcovy River, which also empty into Lake Jackson, forms the Ocmulgee River. The Ocmulgee River then flows southward, then eastward, to converge with the Oconee River to form the largest river in Georgia - the Altamaha River. The Altamaha River flows eastward to empty into the Atlantic Ocean.
