Prominent Georgians Urged Steadfastness in Civil War Struggles
The Southern Confederacy of Atlanta printed a letter from four prominent Georgians - Howell Cobb, Robert Toombs, Martin J. Crawford, and T.R.R. Cobb - thanking the citizens of Georgia for their support of the Provisional Confederate Government (soon to be replaced by duly elected government), and encouraging them to remain steadfast in the struggles yet to come.
