Casimir Pulaski Postcard Issued
The U.S. Postal Service released a Casimir Pulaski postal card to mark the 200th anniversary of his death following a mortal injury during the siege of Savannah, in which American and French forces tried to retake Savannah from the British. First-day-of-issue ceremonies were held in Savannah.
