Cox, Glavine, Maddux Inducted into Hall of Fame
The induction ceremony at the the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y. had a distinctive Georgia flavor, as five of the inductees have ties to the state. Long-time Atlanta Brave manager Bobby Cox, former Brave pitching greats Tom Glavine and Greg Maddux, along with Columbus, Georgia native Frank Thomas and former Brave player and manager Joe Torre, were all inducted into the Hall of Fame.
