Hank Aaron Elected to Hall of Fame

Hank Aaron and Frank Robinson became the 12th and 13th players elected to the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in their first year of eligibility. Aaron came within nine votes of becoming the first-ever unanimous selection, receiving 97.8 percent of the votes of baseball writers participating in the Hall of Fame election.
