Jim Mora Falcons Coach

Jim Mora, Jr. became the coach of the Atlanta Falcons, replacing acting coach Wade Phillips, who took over after former coach Dan Reeves resigned with three games left in the season. Before coming to Atlanta, Mora was defensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers. Mora coached the Falcons through the 2006 season, after which he was released. In January 2007, the Seattle Seahawks picked Mora up as assistant head coach. He served as head coach during the 2009 season but was released in January 2010 after a losing season.
