Milledgeville Editorials on Apathy and What was Required of People
The Confederate Union of Milledgeville reprinted an editorial from a Mobile, AL newspaper which argued the greatest danger facing the Confederacy was not the armies of the North, but the apathy of her own people.
The Southern Recorder of Milledgeville continued the theme of a nation in crisis by reprinting a sermon from a Nashville, TN refugee on what was required of the Southern people in such a time of crisis.
