Tallulah River

Tallulah River

The Tallulah River originates in North Carolina, flows southeastward, entering Georgia in Towns County. It continues its southeastward flow, its total length being approximately 40 miles, before emptying into the Tugaloo River in Habersham County. At the confluence of the Tugaloo River and Seneaca River (a South Carolina river), the Savannah River is formed. The Savannah River then flows southward, forming the Georgia/South Carolina border, before emptying into the Atlantic Ocean near the city of Savannah.
