Richmond Hussars Flag
By tradition, this flag belonged to the Richmond Hussars, a Georgia militia unit founded in 1835. It appears to be a copy of the so-called "Betsy Ross Flag," the version of the first Stars and Strips that had the 13 stars in a circle. However, the top and bottom stripes are white--instead of red, as with the Stars and Stripes. Little else is known about this flag, except that it is a flag that once flew in Georgia.
