Chief Noc-a-Homa

Chief Noc-a-Homa

The most famous mascot of the Atlanta Braves was Chief Noc-A-Homa. Until the 1982 season, the Braves had an elevated platform with a teepee in the stands. Because of the number of seats displaced, Braves owner Ted Turner had the platform removed in 1982. The following photos were taken just before the platform's removal.
