Georgia Historical Markers Listed below are photos and text of selected official and unofficial historical markers erected around the state. With over 1,700 official state markers currently in place, plus a large number of unofficial plaques and markers, it is unlikely that a complete photographic collection of all historical markers in Georgia will be available on the web in the near future.
