Note: Profiles are now available for all 159
counties. Compiliation of courthouse profiles began in September 1999
and was completed in November 2000. Those prepared in 2000 have much
more information than those those written in 1999. As a result, the next
phase of this web site will involve expanding the information contained
in profiles prepared in 1999.
At any one time, work is underway somewhere
in Georgia restoring or expanding existing courthouses, or building
new county government complexes. So, this web site will always be a work
in progress. If you know of information that should be included, please
