Information: Renovations to the 1900 courthouse were
required because of major flooding of the Flint River in 1925,
1929, and 1994. After the 1994 flood, county offices moved out
of the building and into a vacant school building. After repairs
to the 1900 courthouse, the building was transformed into the library and office
space for several public service agencies.
