Extemporaneous Remarks at Warm Springs, Georgia
November 18, 1933

Roosevelt spoke earlier in the day at the celebration of Georgia's bicentennial in Savannah, then took a train to Warm Springs, with brief stopovers in Fitzgerald and Cordele. Upon arrival at Warm Springs, he gave the following remarks:

"May I thank you all. I don't have to say that it comes from the bottom of my heart, because you know that it does. I am awfully glad to be back home again with my neighbors in Meriwether County and Warm Springs."
